A lacquer table cabinet
19th Century
of rectangular form, comprising three lower drawers and an upper tray, decorated in hiramakie in red and gold lacquer with sprays of peonies and foliage issuing from rockwork on black grounds with scattered nashiji, metal handle mounts in the form of butterflies -- 10 7/8in. (27.5cms) long x 8 1/8in. (20.5cms) wide.
