Miyagawa Hanzan (Makazu Kozan II)
1859-1940
a pottery baluster form vase, part covered in a pale celadon glaze to the interior and running down the exterior, moulded in relief to the shoulder with a stylised crayfish -- 9 5/8in. (24.5cms) high, impressed gourd shape seal of Hanzan to base.
