Mark of Alexander Crichton, London, 1881
Formed as a cockatoo, the teardrop-shaped glass body with glass handle and applied glass scrolls indicating wings, on two textured silver feet, the collar and spout formed as the head of a cockatoo with hinged mask, realistically textured with feathers and crest, set with red and black glass eyes, marked on collar, mask, and each foot, the collar also stamped with retailer's mark 'H. LEWIS. 172 NEW BOND ST'
