A set of four George III silver entrée-dishes and covers
Mark of William Burwash, London, 1816
Each shaped oblong, with gadrooned borders interspersed with cartouches at the angles and foliate shells at the sides, the partly-fluted slightly domed covers each repoussé and chased with a foliate scroll and bead border and with vacant scroll cartouche, with detachable foliage-capped ring handle on acanthus terminal, marked on dishes, covers and handles, each dish and cover also stamped '1', '2', '3' or '4'
