Later tan calf by Tout for Henry Sotheran, covers with double fillet border and corner foliate tools enclosing hunting and hunted animal heads, repeated on spine with two calf lettering-pieces (joints and edges very lightly rubbed). Provenance: Forrester Britten (bookplate). FIRST EDITION.
With "Nimrod's" Remarks on the Condition of Hunters, the choice of horses and their management (London, 1831) and Thomas Smith's Extracts from the Diary of a Huntsman (London, 1838). (4)
