An English delft polychrome plate
Circa 1720, probably Bristol
Painted in shades of yellow, iron-red, blue and manganese with a cock standing between sponged-foliage trees with five birds in the skies above (section of rim broken and restuck with small associated chips, small rim chips and flaking to rim)
8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) diam.
