An English pearlware bough-pot, an English porcelain rectangular box and two plates
Various dates first quarter 19th century
The demi-lune bough-pot printed in puce with hunters and hounds within an oval cartouche flanked by figures of Faith and Hope within rectangular panels and beneath a border moulded with masks flanked by oak branches and shaped rim, on three crescent feet, the rectangular box with richly gilt scroll handles moulded with flower-heads, painted to two sides with panels of flowers, the other two sides gilt with foliage, one plate painted with a bouquet of flowers, within a green ground border, the other with loose sprays of flowers within shaped cartouches reserved on a ground of small green flower-heads
