A SUPERB DIAMOND, SAPPHIRE AND ENAMEL BEE BROOCH, BY BOUCHERON
The en tremblant wings of the stylised bee set with engraved diamonds, calibré-cut sapphires and green pliqué-a-jour enamel (one damaged), to the diamond and sapphire body, central star sapphire and chrysoberyl eyes, diamond-set legs and antennae, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1890, 8.3 cm. wide, with French assay mark for gold
With maker's mark for Frédéric Boucheron
