Lot Essay

This design was probably inspired by the first successful accents at Tsukiji by the Japanese Navy in the same year. Another impression is illustrated in Yokohama Kenritsu Hakubutsukan [Yokohama Prefectural Museum], Yokohama ukiyo-e (Yokohama, 1979), p. 111.
