Letter addressed to a Kinsui sama
Mounted as a hanging scroll, ink on paper; a hanging scroll, ink on paper, of a flowering plum branch with a haiku poem which reads Uguisu no warau te furu sumie kana [A sumie picture brushed in to the sound of a laughing nightingale], with seal Tosei (Matsuo Basho, 1644-1694); and another hanging scroll of the Nichiren monk Fukakusa no Gensei (1623-1688), ink on paper
