The sake cup roughly potted with simple footring and everted sides, the grey body covered in a whitish glaze and inscribed with a poem in underglaze iron, signed Rengetsu, with signed fitted box; the bottle with oviform body supported on a short footring and narrow neck, the porcellanous stoneware covered in an off-white glaze with a simple underglaze-blue design of seed-pods, mid-17th Century
