In the form of a seated squatting hare, the detachable head forming the lid, the smoke escaping through the eyes and ears; and a lacquer koro [incense-burner], Edo period (17th century), cylindrical, with a bronze cover pierced with eight holes and fitted with a flower-shaped knop, the exterior decorated in gold hirame and hiramaki-e with shinobugusa, the interior lined with metal, old damage
