A SET OF LOUIS XVI-STYLE WHITE-PAINTED STOOLS
Designed by Pierre Delbée of Maison Jansen, Paris, circa 1965
Comprising:- a set of three rectangular stools, a two larger rectangular stools, and an L-shaped corner stool, each covered in close-nailed embossed blue leather with foliate arabesque decoration, above panelled and chanelled seat-rails, on rosette-headed turned tapering stop-fluted legs, one stool constructed using Louis XVI elements
The three small stools - 19¼in. (49cm.) wide; the larger rectangular stools - 24¾in. (63cm.) and 36½in. (92.5cm) wide; the L -shaped stool - 33¾in. (86cm.) by 33¾in. (86cm.) (6)
