Volume IV, England (of 6) only, 2o (530 x 345 mm). Text in Dutch. Engraved title (lacks letterpress title overslip) and 58 engraved maps (all but one double-page) and 3 engraved views in text (perforated stamp on title, light browning and staining to some maps). Contemporary Dutch vellum, 3 (of 4) cloth ties (wear to corners and edges, some staining). Provenance: H. van der Duffruy (?), (ownership inscription dated 27 April 1727 on front free endpaper).

Dutch edition of the fourth volume of Blaeu's Theatrum orbis terrarum or Novus atlas. Although the preface of the Dutch edition was dated 1647, the title-pages of all the copies known to Koeman are dated 1646. Koeman I, Bl 45A.
