Volume one (of 4) only, oblong 2o (387 x 545 mm). With engraved title, dedication & 55 engraved plates of text & maps, 32 colored by a contemporay hand. (Perforated stamp to title, few minor marginal tears and light marginal browning). Old boards (spine renewed in modern morocco).

FIRST EDITION, with an elaborately engraved title-page, text and illustrations within wide engraved border. Phillips 628.
