Contemporary calf over boards tooled in blind and gilt with floral center and corner pieces, fillets and a floral roll tool border, gilt and gauffered edges (some wear to spine ends and corners). Provenance: Dukes of Bavaria (engraved amorial bookplate on front pastedown); Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate); donated to SMS 1941.
