the complete set of twenty etchings, 1777-78, with the frontispiece by Francesco Piranesi, the majority watermark double-encircled Fleurs-de-Lys (cf. Robison wmk. 36), with margins, the usual central vertical fold, W-E. 736-7 with pale water-stains at the left of the subject, otherwise occasional pale staining and scattered foxing, pinholes at the sheet corners and handling creases, six plates with a fold across the sheet in the lower or right margin (outside the platemark), the subjects in generally good condition.
