woodcuts in black and in colours, 1907-12, on van Gelder laid paper, the colours fresh, text, justification and the complete set of 56, of which twelve hors-text in colours and thirteen in black, and 31 en-text vignettes, the justification signed and numbered 22 in pen and black ink, from the edition of 345, the full sheets as published, the text and the plates with some pale discoloration and the usual off-setting, occasional scattered foxmarks, otherwise the plates and the text in very good condition, bound (as issued) in fushia paper-covered boards with design inpressed in gilt on front and back, cloth-covered spine with artist's name and title impressed in gilt, the title-page detached, the front-cover with a waterstain at the left, otherwise the binding generally in good condition(book)
