A large iron temple bell
inscription dating the bell to the 59th year of Kangxi (1721)
of waisted form with two sinuous dragon heads flanking the finial, the tapering body cast in low relief with a central broad band of calligraphy, between two smaller bands of ruyi-heads and cash roundels alternating with the Eight Trigrams, with accompanying wooden stand, the bell -- 34in. (86.3cm.) high, the wooden stand -- 59 7/8in. (152cm.) high.
