Qianlong moulded seal mark and of the Period
decorated in relief to the stem and foot with foliate lappets and taotie masks on a fret ground, the upper section carved with geometric designs -- the porcelain 7½in. (19cms) high.

In the Winter Solstice sacrifice to Heaven in 1748, blue porcelain vessels were used for the first time as stipulated by Emperor Qianlong.
