A cloisonne and gilt-bronze waterdropper modelled as a melon
early 18th Century
with trailing applied gilt-bronze leaves above the fruit, and decorated with further leaves and flowerheads in coloured enamels between the gilt wire, (two small losses to the enamel, pitting).
