A pair of Sceaux faience leaf-shaped dishes
Circa 1755
Each moulded to simulate large white leaves with green undulating edges and pale-yellow veins, each pale-yellow stem curling back to join the leaf, the centres painted with scattered flower-sprays, the undersides with scattered leaves covering firing-faults (each with slight fritting and flaking to glaze at edges, one with fairly large chip to glaze at rim)
