Circa 1750-55, blue shield mark, impressed E and puce 16.
Wearing a loose white shirt with crossed black straps, puce breeches and yellow boots, selling bottles of spirits from a black box resting on a tree-stump at his right, on a circular mound base applied with flowers and foliage (chip to green strap of box and hat [?] at his left hip, minute chipping to edge of base)
