A Vienna topographical gold-ground cabinet-plate
1821, blue shield mark and impressed date code 821 15
Painted with a view named on the reverse in black script Marie : Zell dans la Styrie., the foreground with peasants before a line of worshipers processing towards the church with a banner and a cross, a carriage to the left, within a rectangular gilt cartouche with canted corners and a ciselé garland of ivy, the border edged with a band of ciselé foliage vitruvian scrolls between ciselé bands (minute scratches to enamels, areas of slight wear to cartouche at 12 and 6 o'clock, scratches and wear to gilt border, further minute areas of wear)
