Kilburn's History of Yorkshire County Cricket 1924-1949 (Leeds, 1950), tipped-in typed presentation inscription from Yorkshire C.C., ownership inscription in Hirst's hand on front pastedown (some spotting, binding soiled); Thomas Harrison Yorkshire Cricket Council 1899-1951 (Doncaster, 1952), presentation inscription from the author to Hirst, dated 1952; and 4 others on Yorkshire cricket, either signed by or inscribed to Hirst.
