Autograph album, small oblong 4° (5 x 4in; 13 x 10.6cm.), approx. 70 leaves containing hundreds of names, the majority early 1920's, some directly signed others with signatures laid down, most in blue or green ink (half a dozen leaves detached), contemporary green morocco, upper cover with compiler's name "Jas.W.Gray" lettered in gilt.
Cricket teams include: England 1905 (11 signatures), Australia 1905 (14 signatures), England Touring Team 1920-21 (15 signatures), Kent 1913 (including Blythe, pencil overwritten in ink), Sussex 1913 (overwritten), Surrey 1913 (one erasure), 1920, 1921 and 1922, Derbyshire 1913, "An English XI" 1920, Lancashire v. Kent 1920, Players XI 1920, Notts 1920, Worcestershire 1920 (pencil), Essex 1920 (pencil), Gentlemen v.Players 1921, Yorkshire 1921, Lancashire 1921, Gentlemen v. Players 1923, and "Famous Umpires." Signed post-card of Jack hobbs 1920 mounted at end.
Football teams include: Newcastle United 1913 and 1913-14 (pencil, overwritten in ink), Sunderland 1914 (pencil) and 1920-21, West Bromwich Albion "League Champions" 1919-20, Scottish League Team at Hampden Park March 10 1920 (crayon), Middlesborough 1920-21, England v.
