Signatures: McAlister, Laver, Hopkins, Macartney, Noble, Gregory, Carter, Armstrong, Hartigan, Bardsley, Cotter, O'Connor. Of 5 matches played, Australia won 2, England 1, with 2 draws. M.A. Noble had the good luck to win the toss in every match. F. Laver, 8 wickets for 31 in the Manchester Test, Armstrong, 6 wickets for 35 runs at Lord's, and Macartney, 11 wickets for 85 at Leeds, proved formidable bowlers. Armstrong and Trumper played magnificently with the bat, and the tour was a personal triumph for Warren Bardsley making his first appearance for Australia in England.
