Further details
In his article on Felix in The Field, July 6 1912, A.M. Broadley noted that in the early 1850's he was "continually in Dorset" undertaking commissions that were helped by his popularity as a cricketer. "In the West for a quarter of a century his name was a houehold one not only as a sportsman, but also as an artist."
