The business was purchased by Mr Robert Garnett Pickles in 1913 and then run by his son, Mr Hugh Pickles, in 1954. The pharmacy remained unchanged until 1962, when a complete modernisation was carried out. Many of the items here offered were in daily use for over 50 years and very much part of a working London pharmacy.
