A pair of late 18th-Century sterling silver spectacles,
in a shagreen-covered and silver-mounted case -- 13cm. (5 1/8in.) long

The spectacles are hallmarked and have hinged ends. The wooden case is partially plush-lined and has a sprung push-button catch. The flip top has a silver plaque engraved H. (2)
