A late 19th-Century model single cylinder mill engine,
with bronze cylinder 2inch bore x 2 7/8inch stroke, cylinder lubricator, centrally mounted valve chest with separate steamways, pedestal mounted double bar type crosshead guides, studded stuffing boxes, tapered connecting rod with wedged and cottered big end, 'V' belt pulley and spoked flywheel, eccentric driven feed pump (detached, eccentric missing), cast bed, finished in green grey and polished brightwork -- 33 x 61cm. (13 x 24in.)
