A 5in. gauge model of a 4-4-0 locomotive and tender built to the design of Maid of Kent
with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, twin injector, whistle and clack valves and blowdown plug. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link reverse, mechanical lubricator, cab controlled cylinder drains and pipes, fluted coupling and connecting rods, dummy brake gear, eccentric driven feed pump, and bypass, two injectors, whistle and other details. Tender details include water cocks, hand feed pump; dummy brake gear, steps hand and lamp irons, finished in red and black -- 34.3 x 150cm. (13½ x 59in.)
