The four models housed within lacquered brass bowls with bayonet fitted bevel-glazed covers, each movement with skeletonised plates finely engraved with scrolling foliage and with chain fusees and spring barrels with six crossings to display each spring

Signed John Roskell Junr. Late Robt. Roskell & Son Liverpool on the gilt foliate engraved bezel, the four wheel train with delicately engraved individual cocks for the third and fourth wheels, the escapement with double chronometer 'scape wheels with spring detent escapement and cut bimetallic compensated balance with flat blued steel spring
