The silvered dial of regulator format with blued steel hands, engraved Roman and Arabic chapters, recessed seconds and hour rings, the movement wound through the centre of the hour hand, delicate high count wheel train with six crossings terminating with the deadbeat escapement planted on the backplate with jewelled pallets and steel 'scape wheel with 60 teeth, jewelled pivots within screwed châtons, fine adjustment to the crutchpiece, nine-rod steel and frosted gilt-brass gridiron pendulum with knife edge suspension and signed MUNRO 4, the backplate engraved Munro 4, twin threaded barrel indirectly suspending two frosted gilt-brass weights with integral steel and brass pulleys with six crossings, the movement bayonet-suspended from a bracket fixed to the backboard, the mahogany breakarch case with glazed top and sides
