A PERSIAN STEEL KULAH KHUD, TWO BELUCHI DHALS, AND AND ABYSSINIAN(?) BUCKLER
All late 19th Century
The first with hemispherical skull incised with Persian Kings and scalework, fitted with two plume-holders, central spike, later brass-mounted lead seal on the brow, and avantail of butted rings; the second and third of wood, the outer surfaces with applied heavy brass plaques, crescents and rosettes, all decorated with designs of circles, each with four tall brass bosses, and brass rosettes around the rims; the last entirely of hide with raised central boss
