AN IRISH ROBE SWORD OF THE ORDER OF ST. PATRICK

With tapering blade of flattened hexagonal section retaining traces of etching on each side, and gilt-copper hilt engraved with shamrocks and trophies of arms and with dated 'butterfly wing' quillons engraved with the badge of the order and 'GR' cypher, in original scabbard re-covered in green velvet with engraved gilt-copper mounts signed 'Brady Dublin' on the mouth-locket, and with Irish harp on each side of the middle-band
