With etched twist octagonal sighted barrel cut with twelve grooves and with standing back-sight fitted with extra leaf, scroll engraved patent breech with two gold lines and copper-lined maker's stamp, case-hardened signed scroll engraved detented lock with safety-catch, scroll engraved case-hardened tang, figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising), raised cheek-piece, chequered grip, scroll engraved blued iron mounts including patch-box cover, silver escutcheon and fore-end cap, set trigger, iron sling mounts, and original ramrod, the lock and mounts refinished, Birmingham proof marks
