With blued scroll engraved octagonal sighted barrel, the top-strap with retailer's name 'Wm. Dooley, Ranelagh St., Liverpool', scroll engraved case-hardened cylinder, scroll engraved bright patent rammer, blued frame with profuse scroll engraving, blued scroll engraved trigger-guard and case-hardened pommel, blued arbor pin, blued arbor pin catch and cylinder locking lever, chequered walnut butt, and much original finish with scattered minor surface rust and pitting: in original fitted mahogany case lined in blue baize with accessories including Dixon powder-flask and correct Tranter patent bullet mould, the lid with illustrated trade label, and circular brass escutcheon, London proof marks
