A .66 FLINTLOCK PATTERN 1759 LIGHT DRAGOON PISTOL
The lock signed Vernon, dated 1760
With 9in. (22.7cm.) barrel stamped 'QLD' (perhaps for the 2nd Queen's Light Dragoons), signed and dated rounded border engraved lock marked 'GR' crowned (mainspring missing), walnut full stock (worming and defects), regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard inscribed 'G56' on the bow, and later brass-tipped ramrod (iron parts pitted)
