The breakarch case with brass handle to brass-lined pad, with inset brass columns to the front angles and arched glazed side panels, the front with brass-lined fielded panel with brass lozenge inlay, on brass ball feet, the white enamel Roman dial (restored) signed Barraud's Cornhill LONDON, strike/silent lever above XII, blued steel moon hands, the five pillar movement with arched plates, twin wire fusees with anchor escapement, strike and trip repeat on bell to the back plate with engraved border, pendulum holdfast and repeat signature
