The cannelee case engraved with foliate scrolls, the sides mounted with pink porcelain panels painted with scenes of storks amidst rushes, within turquoise-jewelled and gilt-painted borders, the conforming dial also painted with storks and within a gilt-painted and turquoise-jewelled border, the chapter ring with individually painted Roman cartouche chapters divided by white enamel jewels, with blued steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to back plate with punched stamp AB and numbered 232
