A. Dumas, No. 128. Circa 1885
Of lantern form and with loop suspension to the top, each side and the rear door mounted with a royal blue porcelain panel painted with floral reserves within gilt-painted and white enamel jewelled borders, the dial painted with a swain serenading his maiden, the gilt-painted chapter ring with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, the single barrel movement with replacement silvered platform lever escapement, the back plate with punched signature A. DUMAS and number 128, with repeat number to the inside of the rear door panel
