the man carved kneeling beside his baskets of fruit, with one arm raised about to strike a small articulated worm peering out of a pumpkin fruit, inset red lacquer signed tablet to the underside -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high; and a wood and ivory okimono of a man with a sword holding a fan -- 5½in. (14cm.) high, (chips to first piece).
