A Japanese four-case Ritsuo-style inro
19th Century
the black lacquer ground decorated in gold and coloured lacquer and inlaid in ivory, coral and mother-of-pearl with a large shell and tassles and a sealmark in lacquer; an ivory manju netsuke carved with Jurojin, signed Koyusai and a double sided mask ojimi -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high, (minor restoration).
