Ivor Roberts-Jones was a graduate of Goldmiths' College and the Royal Academy Schools and undertook many important portrait commissions during his lifetime, of which the most notable is perhaps his sculpture of Sir Winston Churchill in Parliament Square, London. Other important sitters include HRH Prince of Wales, Somerset Maugham and Sir Kyffin Williams.
