The case with glazed side panels and on claw feet, with repoussé silvered dial with addorsed eagle head cresting, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with blued steel hands, the four ringed pillar single barrel movement with verge escapement and quarter strike on two bells; case associated to movement and dial, late 18th century and later -- 16½in. (42cm.) high
