The chinoiserie decorated case with glazed and foliate cast side panels and with fret panel to rear door, giltwood sight ring to brass dial with engraving to the centre and to the arch, silvered subsidiary rings for strike/silent, slow/fast and 8 bells/4gongs, the triple barrel movement with quarter chimes on eight nested bells or four gongs and hour strike on further gong; dial and movement 20th century and associated to redecorated case -- 18in.
