A William IV mahogany and inlaid longcase clock, circa 1835
The swan neck hood with outset columns, the satinwood banded trunk door inlaid with a bats' wing patera and flanked by reeded columns, the plinth with raised panel and stepped base, the 14in. painted dial with floral spandrels and subsidiary date ring, brass hands, with rolling moon to the arch, WALKER & FINNEMORE false plate to the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 87½in. (222cm.) high
