nickel finished 17-jewel lever movement, overcoil hairspring, gilt dial with Arabic and baton markers, three subsidiary dials for seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, telemeter and tachymeter scales, blued steel hands, centre chronograph hand operated by buttons in the band, case (No.52025) snap on back, hollow lugs, case, movement and dial signed, diameter 35mm.

An unusual feature of this watch are the hollow lugs. Enquiries with Rolex reveal that they do have details of a similar model reference 3335, yellow gold, which has also been made with hollow lugs. The reference 3330 is the pink gold version of this model.
It is thought that the lugs were hollowed out in a cost saving rather that a weight saving exercise.
