An interesting patchwork coverlet, pieced from printed dress cottons against an ivory ground, with a central panel finely embroidered in coloured silks with a foliate lattice infilled with floral sprigs and oak branches bearing acorns, the outer ground pieced with stylised flowerheads--62in. (158cm.) square, first half 19th century; an ivory silk gentleman's waistcoat, embroidered in coloured silks, the edges with thistles, roses and clover, the front panels with floral sprigs, 18th century; and a small collection of silks(a lot)
